The Resources for Victims of Gun Violence Act of 2025 establishes an Advisory Council to Support Victims of Gun Violence. The Council will identify, promote, coordinate, and disseminate information, resources, and best practices to help victims of gun violence meet their needs. The Council will survey victims and professionals, conduct a literature review, and assess programs to determine effectiveness and best practices. It will also assess compensation funds established after mass shootings. The Council will disseminate information online and to various agencies and organizations.
