TRACKS Act mandates tracking of taxpayer dollars sent to adversarial countries and foreign entities of concern.
The TRACKS Act, or Tracking Receipts to Adversarial Countries for Knowledge of Spending Act, amends the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act of 2006. It requires the tracking of subawards made to entities in adversarial countries or foreign entities of concern. These entities must disclose data on such subawards in the same manner as other subawards. The Director must issue guidance within 90 days of enactment to ensure consistency in compliance for agencies, prime award recipients, and covered subaward recipients, including setting standards for disclosed data.
