Mr. Bacon (for himself and Ms. Velázquez) submitted the following resolution; which was referred to the Committee on Energy and Commerce
RESOLUTION
Expressing support for the designation of October 15, 2026, as “Liver Cancer Awareness Day”.
- (1) supports the designation of “Liver Cancer Awareness Day”;
- (2) recognizes the efforts of patients, families, advocates, researchers, health care providers, and manufacturers of early liver cancer testing to raise awareness and promote early detection; and
- (3) encourages the people of the United States and interested groups to observe the day with appropriate programs and activities that promote liver cancer prevention, education on risk factors, and the importance of early detection.
