Ms. Barragán (for herself, Mr. Bacon, Ms. Norton, and Mr. Davis of North Carolina) submitted the following resolution; which was referred to the Committee on Education and Workforce
RESOLUTION
Supporting the recognition of September 14 through 20, 2026, as “Interscholastic Athletic Administrators’ Week”.
- (1) supports the recognition of “Interscholastic Athletic Administrators’ Week”;
- (2) commends interscholastic athletic administrators for their commitment and their leadership of student athletes at the secondary school level;
- (3) recognizes the critical role school athletic programs play in student leadership development; and
- (4) commends the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association as the leading organization that prepares individuals who lead secondary school athletics throughout the United States, providing continuous learning, compassion, and preparation within the profession.
