Mr. Cole submitted the following resolution; which was referred to the Committee on Education and Workforce
RESOLUTION
Congratulating the University of Oklahoma baseball team for winning the 2026 Men’s College World Series.
- (1) Congratulates the University of Oklahoma Sooners baseball team for winning the 2026 Men’s College World Series and securing their third national championship;
- (2) Recognizes the players, coaches, and staff whose hard work led the Sooners to victory; and
- (3) Respectfully request that the Clerk of the House of Representatives prepare an official copy of this resolution for presentation to—
- (A) the president of the University of Oklahoma, Joseph Harroz Jr.;
- (B) the University of Oklahoma’s vice president for intercollegiate athletics programs and director of athletics, Roger Denny; and
- (C) the head coach of the University of Oklahoma Sooners baseball team, Arthur Ray “Skip” Johnson.
