Mr. McDowell (for himself, Mr. Van Orden, Mr. Ciscomani, Mr. Baird, and Mr. Van Epps) submitted the following resolution; which was referred to the Committee on Veterans' Affairs, and in addition to the Committees on Armed Services, and Foreign Affairs, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned
RESOLUTION
Commemorating the fifth anniversary of the evacuation of Afghanistan, the Gulf war era, and honoring Gulf war era veterans.
- (1) recognizes the millions of Gulf war veterans and their dedication to protecting the Nation;
- (2) honors the noble sacrifice of the Armed Forces and our allies who served in the Gulf wars;
- (3) recognizes the 5th anniversary of the evacuation of Afghanistan; and
- (4) reaffirms the commitment of Congress to honoring Gulf war veterans.
