Mrs. Cammack (for herself, Ms. Craig, Mr. Panetta, Ms. Brown, Mrs. McClain Delaney, Ms. Pingree, Mr. Bishop, Mr. Crawford, and Ms. Salinas) submitted the following resolution; which was referred to the Committee on Agriculture

RESOLUTION

Supporting the designation of March 21, 2026, as “National Women in Agriculture Day”.

  1. (1) supports the designation of “National Women in Agriculture Day”;
  2. (2) recognizes the important role of women in agriculture as producers, educators, leaders, mentors, and more; and
  3. (3) encourages all citizens to—
    1. (A) recognize women working in agriculture; and
    2. (B) praise the significant positive impact those women have on the food resources and the agricultural workforce of the United States by encouraging and empowering women to—
      1. (i) enter the agricultural field, which is a high-demand field of work;
      2. (ii) cultivate opportunities to lead; and
      3. (iii) feed a hungry world.
