Mr. Fitzpatrick submitted the following resolution; which was referred to the Committee on Rules
RESOLUTION
Providing for consideration of the bill (H.R. 6856) to impose sanctions and other measures with respect to the Russian Federation if the Government of the Russian Federation refuses to negotiate a peace agreement with Ukraine, violates any such agreement, or initiates another military invasion of Ukraine, and for other purposes.
Sec. 2. Clause 1(c) of rule XIX shall not apply to the consideration of H.R. 6856.
Sec. 3. The amendment in the nature of a substitute referred to in the first section of this resolution is an amendment in the nature of a substitute received for printing in the portion of the Congressional Record designated for that purpose in clause 8 of dated at least one day before the consideration of H.R. 6856, if submitted by Representative Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania. If more than one such amendment is submitted, then only the last amendment submitted shall be considered as adopted.
