The Increasing Mental Health Options Act of 2026 amends title XVIII of the Social Security Act to expand access to psychological and behavioral services. It allows clinical psychologists to provide care under Medicare, including in comprehensive outpatient rehabilitation facilities, home health services, skilled nursing facilities, partial hospitalization services, and inpatient psychiatric hospital services. The changes apply to services furnished on or after January 1, 2027.
