Ms. Schakowsky (for herself and Mr. Khanna) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Energy and Commerce, and in addition to the Committees on Education and Workforce, Financial Services, and Agriculture, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned

A BILL

To spark a renaissance in American manufacturing through the establishment of an American Manufacturing Renaissance Act to develop and monitor a national manufacturing strategy, to identify and address supply chain weaknesses as well as identify and address obstacles to inclusion and align manufacturing with strategic opportunities and imperatives through local multi-stakeholder Manufacturing Renaissance Councils, which are analogous to the technology hubs established in the Chips and Science Act, and for other purposes.
