The Prediction Markets Are Gambling Act amends the Commodity Exchange Act to prohibit agreements, contracts, or transactions involving sports events or casino-style games from being listed or traded on registered entities. The act defines "casino-style game" to include slot machines, video poker, blackjack, roulette, and other traditional casino games, as well as simulations of these games. It also defines "sporting event or athletic competition" to include any live or virtual contest involving physical activity or skill.
