The United States Coast Guard Corrosion Control Assistance Team Pilot Program Act establishes a pilot program to provide corrosion prevention and control assistance to Coast Guard field units. The Commandant of the Coast Guard must establish at least two Corrosion Control Assistance Teams with qualified specialists in marine coatings, cathodic protection, training, C5I systems, corrosion engineering, and maintenance. The pilot program will assess corrosion conditions, recommend maintenance actions, support training, and coordinate with the Department of Defense.
