The VA Police Security Enhancement Act expands the jurisdiction of Department of Veterans Affairs police officers to include protection of veterans, officials, employees, and property. It also mandates the Secretary to enter into memoranda of understanding with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies. The Act establishes a Veterans Affairs Police and Security Operations Account to fund employment, training, security infrastructure, and interagency coordination.
