The 21st Century Federal Writers’ Project Act establishes a grant program within the National Endowment for the Arts. It aims to document the American experience through written and visual works. The program will fund eligible entities to engage individuals in producing works capturing the history, culture, customs, folklore, and lived experience of the American people. The Chairperson of the National Endowment for the Arts will establish an advisory panel to develop guidelines for the program.
