Kidney Disease Education Access Expansion Act of 2026 expands Medicare coverage for kidney disease education services and mandates private health.

The Kidney Disease Education Access Expansion Act of 2026 amends the Social Security Act to expand coverage of kidney disease education services under Medicare. It allows these services to be provided in group settings and in the presence of caregivers. The bill also expands the scope of services to include therapeutic options, caregiver training, and post-transplant assistance. A working group will develop methodologies for assessing patient comprehension and clinical outcomes.
