Tax Exempt Hospital Transparency Act requires additional reporting by tax-exempt hospital organizations.

The Tax Exempt Hospital Transparency Act amends the Internal Revenue Code to establish additional reporting requirements for tax-exempt hospital organizations. High revenue tax-exempt hospital organizations must report on their return the 3 highest priority health needs identified in their most recent community health needs assessment, the amount of spending on programs designed to address each need, and a description of actions taken to meet each need.
