The Combat Pay Protection Act amends chapter 19 of title 37, United States Code, to provide for a one-time corrective increase and annual adjustments of certain special and incentive pays for members of the Armed Forces. The Secretary of Defense must increase the amount of each covered special and incentive pay by the greater of a percentage based on the Consumer Price Index or an increase to basic pay. This adjustment takes effect on January 1 of the first year after the enactment of the Act and each January 1 thereafter.
