The Housing Supply Fund Act of 2026 establishes a Housing Supply Fund within the Community Development Financial Institutions Fund to make competitive grants to eligible grantees. These grants aim to increase investment in the development, preservation, rehabilitation, financing, or purchase of affordable housing. The fund targets low-, very low-, and extremely low-income families, homeowners with incomes up to 120 percent of the area median income, and mixed-use or transit-oriented development projects.
