The Florida Freeze Disaster Assistance Act of 2026 allocates $3.5 billion for the Secretary of Agriculture to provide block grants to Florida for losses of revenue, quality, or production of crops, trees, bushes, and vines due to freeze or cold weather conditions. These funds are for losses occurring in counties designated as disaster areas by the Secretary on March 4, 2026. The Secretary must report to Congress on the implementation of this assistance every fiscal quarter until the funds are expended.
