Establishes a Commission on Sustaining Medicare and Social Security to study and report on the programs.

The Commission on Sustaining Medicare and Social Security Act of 2026 establishes a commission to study the Old-Age, Survivors, and Disability Insurance program and the Medicare program. The commission will submit a report to Congress within a year of its first meeting. The commission will be composed of 11 members appointed by the President, the majority and minority leaders of the Senate, and the Speaker of the House. The commission will have a director and staff, and can procure services, contract with agencies, and use the U.S. mails.
