1. (1) in subsection (b)—

(A) by amending the heading to read as follows: “Applicability”; and

(B) by striking “shall take effect on” and all that follows and inserting the following: “shall apply only with respect to contracts and other agreements entered into on or after the date that is the earlier of—

(b) Regulations.—Not later than 120 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Defense shall revise the Department of Defense Supplement to the Federal Acquisition Regulation to implement section 844 of the William M. (Mac) Thornberry National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2021 ( Public Law 116–283; 134 Stat. 3766), as amended by subsection (a).
