McDaniel Medically Necessary Infant Formula and Donor Milk Act establishes a three-year pilot program to provide financial assistance to eligible individuals for purchasing infant formula or donor milk. Eligible individuals include those who are not eligible for the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children, and have a child with specific medical conditions or a postpartum woman unable to breastfeed due to medical issues. The Secretary of Health and Human Services will provide financial assistance through vouchers, reimbursement, or grants.
