The bill authorizes the posthumous presentation of a Congressional Gold Medal to the family of Lance Corporal Dustin Sekula, a Texas war hero, in recognition of his heroic life. The medal will be designed by the Secretary of the Treasury and duplicates may be struck and sold to cover costs. The proceeds from the sale of bronze duplicates will be deposited into the United States Mint Public Enterprise Fund. Lance Corporal Dustin Sekula, born in Edinburg, Texas, died in Iraq in 2004 and is remembered for his service and sacrifice.
