The Northern Mariana Islands Workforce Improvement Act eliminates the touchback requirement for certain Commonwealth Only Workers. This bill amends Section 6(d)(7) of Public Law 94–241 to remove the need for these workers to return to their country of origin before being readmitted to the Northern Mariana Islands. The changes take effect as if included in the enactment of Public Law 115–218.
