Prohibit Deactivation of the ECABs Act of 2026 prevents Army funds from being used to deactivate Expeditionary Combat Aviation Brigades.

The Prohibit Deactivation of the ECABs Act of 2026 restricts the use of Army funds for fiscal years 2027 through 2031 to prevent the deactivation of Expeditionary Combat Aviation Brigades. It mandates the reinstatement or reactivation of any deactivated brigades and requires a plan to sustain and modernize the aircraft used by these brigades. The Secretary of the Army must also submit a report to the congressional defense committees within one year of the Act's enactment.
