The TREAT PTSD TRICARE Act mandates the Secretary of Defense to offer stellate ganglion block to members of the Armed Forces diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder. This treatment is available to those enrolled in the TRICARE program and who have been informed of the therapy's risks and benefits by a qualified health care provider. The Secretary may provide this treatment through a Department of Defense medical facility or a qualified TRICARE health insurance provider.
