No Funds for Iran War Act

Prohibits use of funds for military force in or against Iran until Congress declares war or specific statutory authorization is enacted.

The No Funds for Iran War Act prohibits the use of funds for military force in or against Iran from the date of enactment until December 31, 2026, unless Congress declares war on Iran or enacts specific statutory authorization. Exceptions apply if the use of force is consistent with the War Powers Resolution or necessary to defend the U.S. or its allies from imminent attack, provided the President complies with the War Powers Resolution.
