The No Funds for Iran War Act prohibits the use of funds for military force in or against Iran from the date of enactment until December 31, 2026, unless Congress declares war on Iran or enacts specific statutory authorization for such use of military force. Exceptions are made for uses of force consistent with the War Powers Resolution or necessary to defend the United States or its allies from imminent attack, provided the President complies with the War Powers Resolution.
