The Small Business Territories Support Act creates an Office of Territorial Affairs within the Small Business Administration. This office will focus on entrepreneurial development, capital access, disaster assistance, and contracting needs for small businesses in U.S. territories. The Assistant Administrator, who must have knowledge of the territories' socioeconomic conditions and experience in small business development, will oversee the office. The office will serve as a liaison between small businesses in the territories and various agencies and partners.
