The PI Post Acute Access Act amends title XVIII of the Social Security Act to improve access to skilled nursing facilities for primary immunodeficiency patients. It adds intravenous immune globulin for primary immune deficiency disease to the list of items and services covered under Medicare. The changes apply to items and services furnished on or after October 1, 2026.
