The Saving Lives on Campuses Act of 2026 mandates that opioid overdose rescue kits be available at public institutions of higher education. These kits must be located in classrooms, libraries, laboratories, dormitories, and other facilities used for instruction or housing. The kits must include Narcan, Naloxone, or another FDA-approved medication. Institutions must register the kits' locations, provide a list of locations, and offer training on their use during student orientation.
