The RECOVER Act of 2026, also known as the Removing Excessive Cuts to Outpatient and Vital Essential Rehabilitation Act of 2026, amends title XVIII of the Social Security Act. It eliminates the 50% payment reduction for certain multiple therapy services under the Medicare program. This change applies to physician fee schedules and outpatient therapy services, effective from January 1, 2027.
