The Artemis Accords Authorization Act aims to promote peaceful space exploration, expand participation in the Artemis Accords, and establish norms for safe and sustainable space activities. It authorizes the Secretary of State to lead diplomatic efforts to expand participation in the Artemis Accords and appoint a Special Coordinator for the Artemis Accords. The Act also mandates the development of a strategy to integrate low-earth orbit satellite technologies into U.S. foreign policy and requires annual reports on Artemis Accords participation and compliance.
