The Reforming Disaster Recovery Act establishes the Long-Term Disaster Recovery Fund to provide assistance through a community development block grant disaster recovery program. The Secretary of Housing and Urban Development is authorized to make grants from the fund for disaster relief, long-term recovery, restoration of housing and infrastructure, economic revitalization, and mitigation in the most impacted and distressed areas resulting from a catastrophic major disaster.
