Ms. Tlaib (for herself, Mrs. Dingell, Mr. Cleaver, Mr. Deluzio, Mr. Gomez, Mr. Huffman, Ms. Jacobs, Ms. Jayapal, Ms. Lee of Pennsylvania, Mr. Mullin, Ms. Norton, Mrs. Ramirez, Mr. Thanedar, and Ms. Velázquez) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, and in addition to the Committees on Energy and Commerce, Oversight and Government Reform, and Ways and Means, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned
A BILL
To establish a low-income water assistance program, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. Short title.
This Act may be cited as the “Water Access and Affordability Act”.
