The Western Refined Fuel Reserve Act of 2026 directs the Secretary of Energy to establish a Western Refined Fuel Storage Reserve as part of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve. The Secretary shall identify suitable storage locations in Western States, enter into agreements with state and local governments, and select one location for the Reserve. The Reserve will store gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel, with minimum capacities of 5,000,000 barrels of gasoline, 3,000,000 barrels of diesel, and 2,000,000 barrels of jet fuel.
