H.R.8194

Agent Orange Service Medal Act

Introduced·4/2/26

Establishes the Agent Orange Veterans Service Medal for Vietnam-era veterans exposed to Agent Orange.

The Agent Orange Service Medal Act establishes a commemorative military service medal, the "Agent Orange Veterans Service Medal," to honor Vietnam-era veterans exposed to Agent Orange. The Secretary of Defense will design and produce the medal, which will be issued to veterans who receive compensation for Agent Orange-related conditions or are certified as Vietnam-era herbicide-exposed veterans. If a veteran is deceased, the medal may be provided to their next-of-kin. The Secretary of Defense will prepare an application for veterans and their next-of-kin to apply for the medal.
