H.R.8169

Export Control Enforcement and Enhancement Act

Introduced·3/30/26

Enhances export control enforcement by expediting the consideration of proposals for adding or removing entities from the Entity List.

The Export Control Enforcement and Enhancement Act amends the Export Control Reform Act of 2018 to expedite the consideration of proposals for adding, removing, or modifying entities on the Entity List. The End-User Review Committee must vote on such proposals within 30 days, with the option to extend the period by 15 days if additional information is needed. The Act also establishes a presumption of denial for export licenses involving entities on the Entity List, unless the Committee votes otherwise.
