The Empowering Women in Agriculture Act amends the Food, Agriculture, Conservation, and Trade Act of 1990 to enhance outreach and assistance for socially disadvantaged women farmers and ranchers. It modifies the definition of socially disadvantaged to include gender, and requires that at least 10% of funding for outreach and technical assistance be used to support programs addressing the needs of women who are socially disadvantaged farmers or ranchers.
