The ISLET Act amends the Public Health Service Act to regulate human cadaveric islets for transplantation as organs. It updates regulations under parts F, G, and H of title III of the Public Health Service Act and the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. The Secretary of Health and Human Services must report to Congress on the progress of these updates within six months of enactment.
