Federal Firefighters Families First Act aims to improve pay equality and retirement benefits for federal firefighters.

The Federal Firefighters Families First Act seeks to amend title 5, United States Code, to ensure pay equality between federal firefighters, other federal employees, and municipal and public sector firefighters. It enhances recruitment and retention of firefighters to maintain high-quality federal fire service. The Act also includes the pay of all regularly scheduled hours during the firefighter workweek when computing retirement benefits and establishes the regular workweek for federal firefighters.
