Federal Jobs Guarantee Development Act of 2026

The Federal Jobs Guarantee Development Act of 2026 mandates the Secretary of Labor to create a pilot program offering grants to eligible entities for job guarantee programs. These programs must be located in urban areas with unemployment rates at least 150% of the national average. Eligible entities include political subdivisions of states, Tribal entities, or combinations thereof. The jobs provided must be accessible to all individuals aged 18 and older residing in the program area.
