Delays the implementation of an efficiency adjustment to work relative value units under the Medicare physician fee schedule.

The Efficiency Adjustment Delay Act amends title XVIII of the Social Security Act to postpone the implementation of an efficiency adjustment to work relative value units under the Medicare physician fee schedule. The Secretary of Health and Human Services may not implement this adjustment before January 1, 2030. If the adjustment is implemented, it must not apply to services revalued or reviewed within the 10 years prior to the adjustment. The Secretary must consult with affected physician specialties and submit a report to Congress assessing the need for the adjustment.
