The Stop Corporate Inversions Act of 2026 amends the Internal Revenue Code to modify rules for inverted corporations. It treats foreign corporations as domestic corporations if they meet certain criteria, including having substantial business activities in the U.S. The bill also sets conditions for when a corporation is considered an inverted domestic corporation, including management and control primarily within the U.S. and significant domestic business activities. The changes apply to taxable years ending after May 8, 2014.
