Expands education and workforce training opportunities for youth who have experienced foster care.
Amends section 477 of the Social Security Act to expand education and workforce training opportunities for youth who have experienced foster care. Changes the age threshold for eligibility from "aged out of foster care" to "experienced foster care at age 14 or older." Extends the age limit for participation in the program from 16 to 14. Adds new provisions for costs associated with apprenticeship programs, obtaining a general equivalency degree, and receiving remedial education. The amendments will take effect one year after the enactment of this Act.
