Prohibits use of congressional funds for official expenses on vehicles not made in the U.S. by unionized workers.
The Make Congress Drive Union-Made Act restricts the use of funds available to Representatives and Senators for official expenses to purchase or lease motor vehicles unless those vehicles are manufactured in the United States by unionized workers. This applies to both the Members’ Representational Allowance and Senators’ Official Personnel and Office Expense Accounts, effective from October 1, 2026.
