The VA Bonus and Relocation Recovery Act allows the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to recoup awards, bonuses, and relocation expenses from former.

The VA Bonus and Relocation Recovery Act amends title 38 of the United States Code to authorize the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to recover amounts of awards, bonuses, and relocation expenses from former employees of the Department of Veterans Affairs. This applies if the Director upholds an order of the Secretary and the former employee does not repay the amount within 180 days of the Director's final decision. The recovery process follows the same procedures as for other debts due to the United States.
