The bill reallocates funds from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to the COPS Hiring Program and the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program. It waives certain requirements for jurisdictions employing fewer than 175 law enforcement officers. The bill also extends the funding period for the Byrne JAG Program to September 30, 2030.
