The Data Center Transparency Act mandates the Environmental Protection Agency to submit quarterly reports on data centers' impacts on air and water quality, including water consumption and reuse, and local water systems. The Energy Information Administration must submit biannual reports on data centers' electricity consumption, changes in energy use, new data centers, household energy bill changes, and average household energy use and cost. The act aims to increase transparency and understanding of data centers' environmental impacts.
