Veterans’ Burial Improvement Act of 2025 enhances burial benefits for veterans and their families.

The Veterans’ Burial Improvement Act of 2025 amends title 38, United States Code, to improve laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs relating to memorial affairs. It provides permanent authority for certain burial benefits for spouses and children who predecease members of the Armed Forces serving on active duty. The act also allows the Secretary to pay the actual cost of burial and funeral services for eligible veterans, up to $700.
