The CFTC Charitable Organization Exemption Act of 2025 amends the Commodity Exchange Act to exempt certain charitable organizations from regulation and registration as commodity pool operators. Specifically, it excludes organizations whose advisory or pool activities are conducted solely on behalf of charitable organizations or related entities. This exemption applies to commodity trading advisors and commodity pool operators who are charitable organizations or trustees, directors, officers, employees, or volunteers acting within the scope of their employment or duties.
